Students feel pretty safe on campus, survey says

HOUGHTON — Students at Michigan Tech will tell you that their campus is pretty safe.

Students took a survey in April that asked them about potential sexual or relationship misconduct around campus. 97% of respondents felt safe on campus, and overall agree that faculty and staff are concerned about their well being. 91% say that protecting the safety of students is a University priority.

Just over 6,500 survey invitations were sent out, and a little more than ten percent responded.
