Man sentenced to probation, jail time after police pursuit

An Iron River man will spend eight months on probation after a road rage incident this winter.

Donald Rymkos, 67, was sentenced to 15 days in jail with credit for three served.  In lieu of serving time in jail, Rymkos can complete 24 days of community service.

He pled guilty to attempted fleeing and eluding in the fourth degree last month.

The charge stems from a February road rage incident on U.S. 2 in Iron River after police spotted signs road rage.  Rymkos did not stop, and police pursued him for 13 miles.]
