Unemployment rate decreased in November

Michigan’s seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate decreased in the month of November.

According to the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget, the state’s unemployment rate is 8.8%. That number is slightly higher than Michigan’s 11-month average seasonally-adjusted rate of 8.7%.

November’s unemployment number is below the November 2012 rate of 9%. However, Michigan’s unemployment rate was well above the national rate of 7%.
