An Ironwood man was found guilty on three meth–related felonies during a week–long trial in Gogebic County Circuit Court.
Justin Farrsiar, 35, was found guilty by a twelve person jury on two counts of operating/maintaining a meth lab near a specific place and one count of operating/maintaining a meth lab.
Each of the three charges carry a maximum twenty year sentence in prison.
Farrsiar’s co-defendant, Tammy Korpela, 28, also of Ironwood, pled guilty in May. The Gogebic County Prosecutor’s Office will not release what Korpela pled guilty to until her sentencing.
Korpela will be sentenced February 4; Farrsiar is scheduled for sentencing February 5.
The pair was arrested after a meth lab fire on New Year’s Eve last year at a residence on South Mansfield Street in Ironwood.
