Police have released the deceased woman’s name. They say she is 25-year-old Becky Kinney of Ishpeming.

A woman is dead after a truck accident on US-41 in Marquette Township.
It happened shortly before 1 p.m. near Brickyard Road in front of the TJ Maxx and PetSmart stores.
The woman, identified as a 25-year-old Ishpeming woman, was driving a blue Dodge Dakota pickup truck eastbound on 41. She crossed the center line and left the roadway on the north side.
Her truck hit a street sign and then rode down a hill, across a creek and into a ditch.
Michigan State Police say she was not wearing a seat belt.
Police will not release the woman’s identity until after her family is notified.
The Marquette County Sheriff’s Department, the Marquette Township Fire Department and Marquette General EMS assisted at the scene.

Authorities are on the scene of what appears to be a one-vehicle fatal accident in Marquette County’s Marquette Township.
The accident reportedly happened as an eastbound vehicle on U.S. 41 lost control, crossed the highway and crashed.
