Negaunee man arrested in B & E
19 year old Tyler Scott Johnson of Negaunee Township has been arrested in an overnight Breaking & Entering incident. The Negaunee Police Department was dispatched to the area of Pine Street just after midnight on a report of three subjects breaking into vehicles.
Johnson was taken into custody and police say he had several items that are believed to be stolen.
He is charged with Breaking & Entering – Motor Vehicle. The misdemeanor charge carries a penalty of 93 days in jail and/or a fine of $500 or three times the value of the stolen property, whichever is more.
Negaunee Police say the investigation is continuing and Johnson may face further charges.
