Robbery Fugitive returned to the U.P.
A 51-year-old Wisconsin man suspected in a string of Subway Restaurant robberies across the Midwest is in the Delta County Correctional Facility.
Detectives from the Escanaba Department of Public Safety executed a felony arrest warrant May 21.
Detectives confirmed to ABC 10 News that Brook Grzelak of Green Bay was picked-up from Dodge Correctional Facility in Waupun, Wisconsin and transported to Escanaba.
He is facing felony charges including two (2) counts of Breaking & Entering with Intent, two (2) counts of Safe Breaking, along with a charge of Possession of Burglary Tools.
The arrest stems from a December 2012 investigation involving the Breaking & Entering of two Subway Restaurants located within the City of Escanaba.
It is expected that he will be facing additional criminal charges from various jurisdictions in Wisconsin for similar alleged crimes.
Grzelak was scheduled for arraignment today in the 94th District Court.
