The Forsyth Township Police Department is receiving two new AED units, or automated external defibrillators.
U.P. Pink Power of gwinn organized a 17–mile fundraising walk in mid-April.
More than a hundred people took part in it, and the proceeds are being used to buy new AEDs for agencies across the Upper Peninsula.
The Forsyth Township Police will receive their AEDs at the township Emergency Services Building this Sunday at 1 p.m.
