Gwinn man jailed for fleeing & eluding
A Gwinn man was sentenced to jail today in Marquette County Circuit Court.
Twenty-six-year-old Sean McNamara will spend 300 days in jail, with credit for 11 days already served.
McNamara pleaded to one count of resisting and obstructing a police officer.
In January, the Marquette Police pulled him over for a traffic stop on US-41 near Van Epps Street.
He got out of the vehicle and fled on foot.
An officer tased him after a short chase.
Police say a K-9 unit searched the vehicle, finding marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.
