Motorcyclists participate in Toys for Tots

The Highland Clan Motorcycle Club had their annual Toys for Tots shopping night Friday at the Shopko in Marquette.

They started participating in Toys for  Tots 15 years ago, and have seen the event grow every year.  The club has always partnered with Shopko for Toys for Tots, and is glad the business is supportive of the event.

The club started off spending between $300-400, but now the club spends around $5,000.  They started collecting toys in October, and help with other community charities around the holidays.

Toys will be distributed to children in Marquette, Ishpeming and Negaunee.

The Highland Clan Motorcycle Club will also be participating in Toys for Tots at the Shopko in Calumet on Sunday.
