K.I. Sawyer Drug Arrest
A man will spend Thanksgiving in the Marquette County Jail after being arrested on an outstanding drug warrant.
The Forsyth Township Police say they arrested the suspect in a home at K.I. Sawyer at about 8:30 tonight.
The warrant came from an incident in September at Gwinn High School in which the suspect is accused of possessing more than 20 grams of marijuana.
Police also say he has an outstanding weapons warrant against him in Milwaukee.
Both warrants involve felonies.
Michigan State Police from the Negaunee Post assisted in the arrest.
