Suicide Survivors Preview
When a loved one commits suicide, a wake of family and friends are left behind with a hole in their lives.
Dial Help and the Copper Country Mental Health Institute are holding an event this Saturday in Houghton to try and help suicide survivors pick up the pieces.
The event begins at 12:30 in the Houghton City Center and will feature lunch, a video broadcast and a candlelight vigil.
Most importantly, survivors will learn that they’re not alone.
The International Survivors of Suicide Day is a free event.
