Four people are in jail following two separate heroin busts in Menominee.
The Upper Peninsula substance enforcement team arrested the suspects Tuesday night. In the first incident, a Menominee man was arrested on heroin charges. Detectives from UPSET are also seeking additional charges on a woman connected to the case.
The second incident involves 3 people from Illinois who are currently being lodged on number of heroin charges. Officers executed a search warrant Tuesday night on a hotel room where a large quantity of heroin was seized.
During the bust, cash and evidence of heroin distribution was found. Both cases are being reviewed by the Menominee County Prosecutor’s Office.
UPSET detectives were assisted in both incidents by the Menominee City Police and Marinette Drug Team.
