Celebrity Golf Classic Match Party
The 2012 Upper Peninsula Celebrity Golf Classic started tonight with a celebrity and team match party.
This is the second year in a row that the golf classic has been held in Marquette. Celebrities from all over the country have gathered to participate. The event sponsor and host is The Mariucci Family Foundation.
Steve Mariucci was at tonight’s event and couldn’t be happier with how well received this event has been.
The golf classic benefits The Beacon House in Marquette. The hospitality house operates on a donation basis. Since the home opened in 2002, more than 115,000 guest night stays have been provided.
Many celebrities are excited to get out and golf at tomorrow’s outing. But more importantly they are honored to help support a local charity.
The shotgun start for the classic is tomorrow morning.
