Possible new development in Marquette
The Veridea Group, LLC is proposing a mixed–use development at the former Sara Lee Bakery on Washington Street. The transformational development in the areas downtown will include removal of the functionally obsolete former bakery facility.
The building will include approximately 66 thousand square feet of commercial space, 24 thousand square feet of retail space, 36 thousand square feet of residential space, and an underground parking facility. The anticipated investment for this space is 31 million dollars.
The Marquette City Commission will hold a public meeting on this topic June 25th.
