Tornado Warning in Marquette County
A tornado warning is in effect for north central Marquette County until 9 p.m.
Just before 8:30 p.m. The National Weather Service Doppler Radar indicated a serve thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado. This storm is capable of producing ping pong ball sized hail.
This storm was located 9 miles southeast of big bay and is moving east at 25 miles per hour.
Locations impacted include… Mainly rural areas of northern Marquette County including Kennecott Mine.
The National Weather Service is urging residents to take cover now and move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building.
