Ishpeming Police Investigate Shooting Death
Ishpeming Police say one person is dead and one suspect is in custody after a shooting in a home near the city’s downtown.
The incident took place at 409 North Second Street. Police are not releasing the names of either the victim or the suspect.
State Police Crime Lab Detectives are en route to the scene.
The Ishpeming Police Department is handling the investigation and are being assisted by other agencies, including the Michigan State Police, Ishpeming Township Police and the Marquette County Sheriff’s Department.
