Coss and Sippola Convictions Will Stand
The Marquette pair convicted of trying to blackmail actor John Stamos will have their convictions stand.
Allison Coss and Scott Sipploa were sentenced in 2010.
Today, a three–judge panel threw out challenges to the indictment. The judges also rejected claims that the pair should have received leniency at sentencing – since they accepted responsibility.
Coss and Sippola demanded $680,000 from Stamos, in exchange for photos they claimed to have of Stamos with strippers and cocaine.
