Deputies from the Houghton County Sheriff’s Department responded to a one vehicle rollover accident that may be alcohol related. The driver was a 30-year-old male from Hancock. The incident happened Saturday at 1:45 a.m. on Main Street near Dogwood Avenue in Dollar Bay. The driver was traveling north bound on Main Street when his vehicle left the road, flipped over and then struck a tree. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash. The driver was transported to Portage Health Hospital by Mercy Ambulance and later transferred to Marquette General Hospital. The accident is still under investigation.
