It was a much more pleasant day today for most of Upper Michigan.
Most communities are completing the process of digging out from the snow storm.
The storm made for poor driving conditions and many closures around the U–P.
The National Weather Service measured 19 inches of total snowfall in Iron River and Stambaugh areas.
Ishpeming and Marquette each received nearly a foot a snow.
Other areas across the U-P saw snow accumulations in the 11 to 17 inch range.
