Baraga County Escaped Prisoner Found
An anonymous tip has helped put the man who escaped from the Baraga County Jail 5 days ago is back in police custody.
28–year–old Brandon Cote is in jail tonight.
A tipster told police over the weekend that Cote was in a home in Zeba.
County sheriff’s deputies, and the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community Tribal Police, arrested him at that home at about 8:30 last night.
He escaped from the county jail on foot last Wednesday night.
The Sheriff’s Department wants to thank residents for their help in re–capturing Cote.
