Sunday AM Liquor Sales Possible This Month

Sunday-morning liquor sales in Michigan won’t begin until late December at the earliest.

The Michigan Liquor Control Commission says it’ll post applications for the $160 license needed to sell alcohol on Sunday mornings.

Local governments will have until December 15th to notify state officials if they plan to ban Sunday morning sales.

The new law will allow Sunday alcohol sales starting at 7am.

Previous law bans liquor sales from 2am to noon Sunday.
