Delta County Drug Bust
A major drug bust in Delta County involves 13 different law enforcement agencies.
The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team says it involved 5 search warrants in Gladstone and Escanaba.
It’s part of a joint cocaine trafficking investigation by UPSET, other local drug task forces, the ATF and the DEA.
Numerous firearms, a large quantity of cocaine, drug paraphernalia and other cocaine-trafficking items were seized.
Several subjects have been arrested on both state and federal charges.
The investigation is ongoing.
The Delta County Prosecutor and the U.S. Attorney’s office in Marquette are both reviewing the case, and additional charges are pending.
