The Georgia man accused of threatening a Delta County woman with a knife is spending the next 9 months in jail.
20-year-old Timothy Coble of Moultrie, Georgia has been sentenced to a year in jail with credit for 97 days served.
In February, he pleaded no contest to felonious assault.
The charge came from an incident at a home on North 9th Street in Escanaba the morning of Christmas Eve.
Coble was accused of producing a knife and holding it to a woman’s neck.
She wasn’t hurt.
