Marinette Bank Robbery
Police just across the state line from the U.P. are looking for a bank robber tonight.
Marinette City Police say someone robbed the Marinette County Employees Credit Union this morning.
A white male walked into the credit union with a bag on his head a little before 11am Central time.
Police say he demanded money and claimed to be armed but never displayed a weapon.
He left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Witnesses described the man as about 30 years old, 5’2″ or 5’3″, and 115 to 120 pounds, so he has a slender build.
The suspect also has brown hair and a gravelly voice.
He’s described as wearing blue jeans and a light green jacket at the time.
Marinette City Police are asking anyone who knows anything more about the robbery, or the suspect, to call them.
