Ishpeming Man Dies in Bike Wreck
Police release the name of an Ishpeming man who died Friday in a motorcycle accident.
Iron County sheriff’s deputies say it’s 27-year-old Aaron Karvonen.
He died shortly before 3:30 Central time Friday afternoon in Mastodon Township, a little south of Crystal Falls.
Police say Karvonen was riding his motorcycle on the Tobin-Alpha Road when he left the road and hit a tree.
He was thrown from the bike and died at the scene.
State Police accident investigators from Iron River and DNR conservation officers helped out at the scene.
