Fatal Ontonagon Shooting
State police are looking into the weekend shooting death of an Ontonagon man.
They say 28-year-old Daniel Keranen was shot to death early Saturday morning.
The shooting happened at about 3:30am on Fred Glaser Court in Ontonagon.
There’s no more information available at this point than that.
Troopers from the Wakefield Post are working with the Ontonagon County Sheriff’s Department and the county medical examiner on the investigation.
They blocked off a portion of Spar Street and the Cane Court Apartments nearby for much of Saturday to look into the crime scene.
