Ski Marathon Kicks Off with Junior Noque
Today’s Noquemanon events started with the Junior Noque, aimed at up-and-coming young skiers.
The first race started at 4 this afternoon, with the 5K freestyle for ages 12 to 19.
The 3K freestyle event for 8-to-11-year-olds started at 5, with the 3K classic a few minutes after that.
The last race of the day got underway a little while ago — the 1K classic race for kids 7 and under.
It’s still a busy evening for Noquemanon volunteers.
The ski expo and registration are still going on at the Superior Dome until 10 tonight.
