EBEN JUNCTION — An Upper Peninsula school’s football field was heavily damaged after someone drove through it late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.

Superintendent Bill Valima and others found the field damaged when they arrived at Superior Central High School Wednesday morning.

The school is working on repairing the field.

There’s no word yet on how much the damage to the field will cost.

Earlier this spring, the school’s tackling sled was stolen from the football field.

That piece of equipment is still missing.
