MARQUETTE — Brookridge Heights Assisted Living and Memory Care invited senior citizens for an opportunity to have fun while taking good care of their health. And the seniors accepted the challenge.

Cars upon cars were lined up outside the facility for one of the first Senior Health Fairs by the host. The seniors were provided with health information and education from professional agencies and businesses from throughout the area. Screenings, blood pressure checks, massage and more were available to the packed house of seniors who took advantage of the opportunity.

“There’s a great energy in the building,” said Brookridge Heights Director Sales & Marketing Jennifer Huetter, “we have a lot of people coming through and getting a lot of information from us. It’s really just a convenient moment for our seniors. They can come to one building, hit 18 vendors all under the same location all under one roof. Brookridge has a beautiful facility so it’s great to have people walk through our halls. It’s just a really great time.”

If that wasn’t enough, the admission was free and door prizes were given out. With such a litany of success, Brookridge Heights plans on doing more events like this in the near future.
