Baseball, softball games postponed
Inclement weather has forced all of Friday’s games at American Legion Baseball Zone Five Tournament to be postponed until Saturday. Two games were in progress when the weather stopped play for the day.
Escanaba currently leads Marquette, 4-3, in the second inning. That game will resume play Saturday at 10:30 am CT.
The game between Menominee and Kingsford is scoreless in the third inning. That game will restart Saturday at 12:30pm CT.
Gladstone and Hancock will begin their game at 12:30pm CT.
The Little League Minors Softball State Tournament (9 and 10-year-old girls) at Escanaba has been suspended until Saturday (inclement weather).
