Perfect Weekend at the Race Track
It was a great weekend for almost anything outdoors…and it was perfect for a strong competition at the Traxxas Torc Off–Road Championship at the Bark River International Raceway.
The defending 2010 champion – Johnny Greaves – made it look easy.
Mike Jenkins placed second Sunday in the pro 4 race.
Ricky Johnson took third.
Greaves almost had his first win saturday but suffered mechanical problem on the last lap that kept him off the podium with a place 4th place finish.
Johnson is the points leader in the pro 4 division.
He won saturday.
C.J. Greaves took first in pro 2 Sunday after a 5th place showing Saturday.
He also came away with a 3rd place win in Pro Light Sunday after coming in at the back of the pack on Saturday.
Luke Johnson won the Pro Light Race Saturday.
The races at the Bark River International Raceway this weekend was round 9 and 10 on the Traxxas Torc off–Road Championship.
The track is operated by the Bark River Lions Club.
The next races will be held at Crandon, Wisconsin September first and second.
