Pair of Future MTU Huskies win Clark Cup

GREEN BAY, Wis. – A pair of future Michigan Tech Hockey players, Ryan Furne and Patrick McCadden, helped the Green Bay Gamblers win the Clark Cup awarded to the playoff champion of the United States Hockey League Wednesday (March 12). The Green Bay Gamblers defeated the Fargo Force 5-3 in the fifth and final game of the series. The Gamblers also won the Anderson Cup awarded to the USHL regular season champion.

Furne scored the second goal for the Gamblers in the championship game and finished with seven goals and seven assists for 14 points in 12 playoff games. He tied for third in the league in playoff scoring.

McCadden also played in 12 games scoring two goals and adding four assists for six points.
