Officials seek answers about park vandalism

CHIPPEWA COUNTY — The United States Forest Service is asking for the public’s help in reducing vandalism on public property.

Employees at Hiawatha National Forest have spent time removing graffiti and fixing concrete capstones at “Spectacle Overlook” on Mission Hill in Chippewa County. Park officials say that thousands of dollars have been spent to remove the graffiti and repair the damaged walls.
