NMU Army ROTC Awards

The academic year at Northern Michigan University is about to wind down.

So the members of NMU’s Army ROTC program were honored today for their accomplishments throughout the year.

Wildcat Battalion executive officer Morgan Steele says they had awards for cadets with the most improved grade point average, for the highest physical fitness scores, for community service projects and for other areas.

Wildcat Battalion Capt. Benjamin Hormann received the Col. Leo A. Codd Memorial Award for his outstanding work as a U.S. Army ROTC instructor.

He’s one of only nine people across the country to receive that award this year.
