Music in the Park in Marquette

Just like ice cream cones and flip flops, Marquette City Band and Music in the Park are back for the summer on Thursday and Friday evenings at Presque Isle Park. Pack up your picnic basket and enjoy the lighter notes that summer brings!


Join Marquette City Band at Presque Isle Band Shell on Thursday nights at 7:30pm. Featuring traditional, Broadway musical, patriotic and international band music directed by Steve Grugin.

City Band Schedule:

June 14th-“All That Jazz”

June 28th- “The Spirit of America” Patriotic Program

July 12th- “Under the Big Top” A concert especially for children

July 26th – “Broadway Showstoppers”

August 9th-“Beyond our Boarders”

This concert venue at the Presque Isle Band Shell provides a family friendly atmosphere to enjoy musical entertainment that is free and open to the general public. Concerts are held on Friday evenings and begin at 6 p.m. until sunset.
