Car Hits Houghton Subway Restaurant
Police in Houghton are trying to figure out why an SUV hit a building this morning.
Houghton Police say it happened just before 8 this morning.
That’s when a vehicle driven by a 36-year-old Laurium woman ran into the Subway restaurant in the Sharon Center Mall.
The woman had to be removed from her vehicle with the Jaws of Life.
The Houghton and Hurontown Fire Departments were among the other agencies that helped out at the crash scene.
The woman was taken to Portage Health in Hancock for treatment.
Her name hasn’t been released yet.
