Bell Foundation Blizzard Ball
What better way to beat the winter blues than to save a life?
That’s the goal behind the Bell Foundation’s Blizzard Ball.
The organization’s annual fundraiser is just around the corner and is still accepting RSVPs.
Each year, the Bell Foundation event sponsors a different department within the hospital.
This year, the proceeds will go towards mobile communication devices for Bell EMS.
David Aro of Superior Therapy Services says Bell received a USDA grant for partial payment for the devices, and the ball will raise enough money to pay off the remaining balance.
The Blizzard Ball is this Saturday from 7 to 11.
The event includes cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and entertainment.
The ball costs $80 per person, but $65 of that ticket cost will be used for the devices.
