Car vs. House in Marquette
A man was injured tonight when he ran his car into a house in Marquette.
City Police say it happened shortly after 5 pm at 133 Fisher Street.
The 911 call said that the driver, a 52–year–old Marquette man, may have suffered a medical emergency.
Witnesses say he may have been trying to make a multi–point turn at the Champion Street intersection when his Subaru sped up and hit the house.
The driver suffered a minor injury and was taken to Marquette General for treatment.
There’s no word on how he’s doing.
A passenger riding with him was not hurt.
No one in the house was injured, either.
The home took minimal damage.
No citations have been issued.
Police say the names of the people involved are not being released pending further investigation.
