GLIAC Soccer: Tech, ODU play to 0-0 draw

HOUGHTON, Mich. – Michigan Tech and Ohio Dominican battled to a 0-0 tie in GLIAC soccer action Sunday (Oct. 14) at Sherman Field.
“We played a good game of soccer today, but were unable to finish,” said head coach Michelle Jacob. “Laura Clark played a great game in goal for ODU.”
The Huskies had two penalty shots in the game in the 78th and 109th minutes but came up scoreless.
Tech (10-2-1, 8-0-1) finished with a 24-9 advantage in shots and an 11-3 lead in shots on goal.
Jenna Phelps made three saves for the Huskies. Laura Clark made 11 saves for ODU and stopped both Tech penalty shots.
The Huskies will play at Grand Valley State Friday (Oct. 19).
