There is a winter weather advisory for Marquette County until 7:00 a.m. Wednesday according to the National Weather Service.

2 to 4 inches of additional snow accumulations are expected, mainly across the higher terrain areas south and west of Marquette in the Huron Mountains, Negaunee, Ishpeming, and Gwinn areas. Tonight, gusting winds as high as 35 mph will cause blowing and drifting snow, reducing visibility.

To everyone in the area, stay safe and be cautious driving tonight.
