NEGAUNEE — A historic theater is asking for your help.

After the roof of the Vista Theater collapsed, many questions rose whether or not the historic building could be saved.

The Peninsula Arts Advisory Council, who runs the theater, had an architect do a study on the building, and found the building to be stable.

Urgent action is required to save the building, so the PAAC is asking for $100,000 for repairs, which need to be completed before the snow hits.

A crane to remove debris will cost $30,000 shoring up the walls will cost another $30,000; and protection of two exposed areas will cost an additional $30,000, plus contingency.
