MARQUETTE — The City of Marquette has announced that curbside brush and compost pick up is now postponed.
Brush collection will now be conducted on the days of May 18–22. The postponement came because of the recent developments in weather and COVID–19, which reduced the number of workers available.
“There was still a lot of snow on the ground and we realized people may not have had the opportunity to rake and clean up their yards,” said Mike Angeli, Marquette City Manager. “Not to mention, last year, we never doid complete the process so we wanted to make sure everybody had the opportunity to get what they needed curbside.”
