Wisconsin residents arrested for meth in Delta County

DELTA COUNTY — On Monday at approximately 3:35 A.M. , A Deputy with the Delta County Sheriffs Office stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction in the Bayview area.

K-9 Jet was requested at the scene to conduct an exterior sniff to  the vehicle.

Deputies located methamphetamine and a loaded handgun next to the driver. The male driver who is a Green Bay resident was arrested for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and carrying a concealed weapon.

Following the traffic stop, deputies along with troopers from the Michigan State Police from the Gladstone Post went to a campground in Ford River Township.

Where they arrested another male subject from Wisconsin for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and a female from Wisconsin for possession of methamphetamine and heroin.

Additional charges are pending.

The Delta County Sheriff’s office was assisted by detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team.
