Fatal one car accident in Marinette

MARINETTE COUNTY — A fatal one vehicle accident was reported today to the Marinette County dispatch at 2:43 pm.

The preliminary investigation of the scene shows that a four door sedan was heading southbound on the 25th road when it had went off the road and impacted a bridge.

The car proceeded to flip after the impact and landed upside down in the South Branch of the Beaver Creek.

The rescue dive team members recovered a body of a white male believed to be in his early 40s inside the vehicle.

That victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
