No injuries reported after two Ontonagon County rollover accidents

ONTONAGON COUNTY — No injuries were reported after a couple of rollover accidents in Ontonagon County Tuesday evening.

The Ontonagon County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a single vehicle rollover accident on M-28 near Blacksmith Road.

Kiara Dewitt of Trout Creek, Michigan was traveling on M-28 when she lost control of her vehicle on slushy roads. The vehicle left the roadway struck the ditch and overturned causing minor damage to the vehicle.

The Sheriff’s Office was also dispatched to a vehicle in the ditch on M-38 near M-26.

Mark Charles of Bay Village, Ohio was traveling on M-38 when his vehicle drifted to the side of the road. The vehicle caught loose snow and was pulled toward the snowbank. The vehicle traveled through the snowbank for several feet, causing minor damage to the vehicle.
