MSHS Class of 1977 holds reunion

MARQUETTE–Former classmates of the Marquette Senior high class of 1977 gathered tonight at the Hedgecock Building at NMU for their 40th class reunion.

Old friends greeted each other as drinks and snacks were served. A social program was held to take the classmates back down memory lane as they reminisced good times with each other at the school. Old yearbook and reunion photos were on display, as well as the opportunity to take some new ones.

“We were a class that was organized, ready to help out whenever we could – the student body- and also the school organization, whether it be high school or junior high or elementary,” said Sue Rivard Christensen, one of the reunion organizers and graduate of 1977.

Tomorrow night, a mixer celebration will be held at Vango’s Pizza for the class to catch up one last time before they head their separate ways once again.
