Man enters plea agreement on cocaine, heroin charges

MARQUETTE –A Gwinn man arrested by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET) pleaded guilty to a pair of felony charges Friday morning in Marquette County Circuit Court.

William Hebert, 60, admitted he’s guilty on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of heroin. A third drug charge was dropped as a result of a plea agreement.

Hebert was arrested June twenty-sixth at his residence on Maple Street in Gwinn. UPSET Detectives recovered heroin, crack, cocaine, prescription pills and cash during the bust.

Hebert is due back in court September 8th for sentencing.
