IRONWOOD — Following a domestic dispute, a man barricades himself in a house and sets it on fire.
Ironwood Public Safety Officers responded to a structure fire at the 200 block of West Ash Street around 1:40 p.m. When the officers arrived, a female subject was outside and reported there was still a male in the house.
It has been determined that in response to a domestic dispute, the male suspect barricaded himself in the house and started the fire. The officers were able to gain entry and remove the man from the house who was later transported to AGVHS emergency department.
The Ironwood man has been charged with domestic violence along with two counts of resisting and obstructing.
