Drug suspects headed to circuit court

ESCANABA — Two Escanaba residents facing drug charges are on their way to appear in front of Delta County Circuit Court Judge Stephen T. Davis.

Fifty–eight year old Sherry Valiquette and 39–year–old Gilbert Tryan have been bound over to circuit court. Both Valiquette and Tryan were arrested by the Delta County Sheriff’s Office in Ford River Township last month.

A deputy found crack cocaine inside the vehicle Valiquette was allegedly driving. Valiquette is expected to enter a plea agreement on June 17th.

There’s no word yet on Tryan’s next court date.
